Architecture which is born out of necessity and poverty is found around the
world. It is the inspiration for the Architecture of Necessity. The house form
was constructed from a patchwork of garbage, (cardboard, coffee stirs,
paper bags, banana skins, etc...). The piece was then cast in bronze in a
process which might be called lost garbage casting.
